MODULE THREE

Reflection:

It has been a fun and frustrating experience to work on the concept mapping by connecting the assessment tool with learning objectives. The instruction for this assignment is to list 2-5 learning objectives for an online course and connect the learning objectives to an assessment tool. It is a wonderful practice to keep in mind the assessment while activities related to the learning objectives are planned.

It's fun to see how the concept map can be arranged with different graphics and colors and how our classmates use concept mapping in very different way. My frustration is that I have trouble to download the free trial file on my computer. Well, the problem solved after I switch to a different computer. This is my first time to use concept map. I realize the visual learner will benefit from this instructinal design. It can help me to plan my teaching in a more organized way. I am very grateful that Kathy and Ginnie provide a different online concept mapping tools which do not involve downloading.

Jingfang, Thank you for persevering and creating a valuable concept map - so glad that you now know the software and can introduce its use to future visual learners.

I have to profess that Macs are much more user-friendly and why I am a long time user of these computers (since 1995).

Thanks for keeping up in this class so well. ~ Datta Kaur
